More highlights from Jamaica, Mon

So my parents surprised us with a trip to Jamaica for April vacation!!  They even pulled us out of school for the last day before vacation started.  It was so much fun.  We stayed at the Jewel Runaway Bay.  There was so much to do there.  We went to kids camp a couple of times and made homemade pizza, tie-dyed shirts, played wii games, etc.  My dad and I went snorkeling while mom and Dimitri went kayaking.  Mom and I went on a hobie cat ride.  PLUS there was a waterpark right at the hotel - like 50 steps from our room.  The waterpark had two huge slides, an awesome lazy river and a few kiddie slides.  The hotel also had an infinity pool with a swim-up bar where we got to order our own Pina Colada's and Strawberry Daiquiries - YUM!  There was another huge pool with a volleyball net. My mom and I played a lot of volleyball.  The beach was fun too.  Early in the morning we would go to the beach with a bagel and feed the fish.  They would literally jump on us to get the bagel.  In one of the restaurants there was a kids buffet - just our height with just the foods we love including a soft serve ice cream machine and cones!  Let me tell you how awesome it was to have ice cream like whenever you want to!  The people were so nice, too.  I asked one of the workers to get a coconut from a tree and he did and he cut it with a machete and stuck a straw in it for me to drink.  Egg-boy made me eggs whenever I asked and the smoothie man made Dimitri and I banana smoothies every morning because he knew that we loved them.   One night we had dinner at the Japanese steakhouse where Delicious (yes, that was her name!) made us a fun dinner right in front of us.   I hope my parents take us back there again someday.  It was really really awesome!!

One item checked off the Bucket List!

Well, at least off of my mom's bucket list.  We got to swim with the dolphins in Jamaica.  It's always been something my mom wanted to do.  It was pretty cool, I have to say.  Dimitri wasn't sure what to think though!!

Il Maestro di Piano

I played another gig at the Coffee Factory tonight.  Grandma and Papou and Uncle Todd and Mardi came to see me.  I think this was my best performance yet!  Then we hit Shorty's after for a little more birthday celebration for Dimitri.  The fun never ends!

More Parties!

Well, it's Dimitri's turn to have his birthday party.  It was in the basement with his buddies, just like mine.  I helped with the games.  The kids LOVED playing duck, duck goose and throwing pillows at me. They also did "Pin the spider on Spidey", and musical chairs.  Clearly the theme-du-jour was Spiderman.  Dimitri had so much fun celebrating with Caroline, C.J., Jake, Jasper, Jocelyn, Ryan and Tajes!

Early Birthday Celebration for Dimitri

Since Nana and Papa will be on vacation in Italy we did a little early birthday party for Dimitri last night.  They got him a helium tank so he can inflate his own balloons!  Yaya got him a gift certificate for the 99 - his favorite.  He is one happy little kid.

Night on the Town seeing Justin Willman

My parents took me and my friend James into Boston on Friday to see a show.  We stopped in Assembly Square for dinner, then to the candy shop.  From there we jumped on the Orange Line and zipped into the city.  We had FRONT ROW tickets to see Justin Willman at the Wilbur Theatre.  He did some super amazing tricks.  He even used my mom's cellphone for 2 of them (he even took a selfie with it and you can see us in the background) and at the end of the show my mom had to get up on stage.  Last year we went to see him and I ended up on stage.  If you haven't been to his show, you need to.  I tried so hard to figure out how he does it, but I still don't know!!!
