Were we naughty or nice?

You decide after seeing what Santa left for us!  We had such a great day yesterday with Nana, Papa and Uncle Todd and our parents.  Yaya broke her wrist so couldn't be with us.  We brought Christmas to her last night.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Little Elves….

My family and I went to deliver food baskets for New Horizons Food Pantry this morning.  We all wore Santa hats and carried turkey's, toys and a basket of foods to the doors.  It was fun and I think we made a few people very happy.

Dimitri goes a-caroling

Well….let's just say he goes bell-ringing and leave it at that.  Not much singing going on!

Immaculate Conception Mass

Our 3rd grade class put on a Mass today in the chapel at PMA.   I did a reading and we sang a song together and then Mrs. Craven invited our parents back to the classroom to hear our "Class Song".  My parents and Nana and Papa came.  It was the best part of my day!!

A full bucket

of hats and mittens that we will bring to the Anna Marie house.  The Anna Marie house is a homeless shelter that houses about nine families at a time (http://www.annemariehouse.org).  It's right on the campus of my school.  We will bring these to them tomorrow.
The story behind the bucket is….we had a party yesterday and asked everyone to bring a donation of a warm hat and/or mittens for a child in need.  How awesome are our friends!?!?!  Look at the bucket full of warm and fun items!  We are very grateful to have such cool friends.  The party itself was a blast too.  Dimitri and I loved having our friends over for some silly holiday fun.  We decorated ice cream cone Christmas Trees too.  Yum!!   I hope they all had as much fun as we did.  My mom didn't take any pictures of the actual party so I cannot post them.  But a BIG THANK YOU to our friends:
James, Madison, Nathan, Zack, Mason, Jocelyn, Zach, Caroline, Eric, Hannah and Ryan for being so generous.  Happy Holidays!!

UPDATE:  We got some pictures from a friend so you can see the fun!

Santa!! He came to Advent Breakfast at PMA!

Dimitri and I brought a bunch of gifts to Santa this year.  I know, it seems backward, but he is going to get them to a child who doesn't have many toys.   We did manage to tell him what we would like under the tree this year too.  :)

Smashing Pumpkins!

Not the rock group.  Just us.  Smashing pumpkins off of the roof.  Super cool.

A little Pre-Halloween Fun!

We went to The Co-op Halloween Bingo night last night.  All Dimitri's friends were there.  It was fun - everyone won something and there was pizza and cupcakes so really, that's all you need!

Piano Man.

Another recital is in the books.  This time I definitely stepped it up a notch with a piece from Carmen.  The song title is Habanera.   I am pretty proud of myself - I've come so far from the first recital.  It's a little tricky for me to play on a real piano as I only have a keyboard at home and the weighted keys of the piano are definitely different.
And it was Dad's birthday so that made it extra special.  The fact that we went out to dinner after and had Grandma's homemade apple pie for dessert helped too!

Family, Friends & Fun Fall Weekend!

What a fun time we had with my buddies Mason, Zach, & Zack.  Dimitri liked hanging out with us too, plus his little "girlfriends" Jocelyn and Caroline.
We hiked Rattlesnake Mt., had s'mores by the campfire on the beach and did a corn maze (well, TRIED to do a corn maze - maybe we cheated a little).   Plus we got to stay in this really cool cabin right on Lake Winnipesaukee!  The best part was just being able to roam around from house to beach to house and my parents didn't have to watch me every second….I just got to be with my posse.    I'm so grateful to my friends and their families for such a fun time!

School is back in session.

I began 3rd grade last week and had my first test yesterday, plus 2 more today.  YIKES!  I love my teacher, Mrs. Craven though.  It's going to be a good year.  Dimitri also started Pre-K.  He has my old teacher Mrs. Hankus.  He seems to like it so far.  Dimitri even had one of his friends over to swim already!

The Codzilla Experience!

And I mean EXPERIENCE!  My mom took me to Boston to meet Uncle Todd and we went on this crazy boat called Codzilla.  It was fun, but scary at the same time….it was sooooo fast and turned quick.  We got SOAKED!!  And I mean SOAKED.  You probably cannot tell so much from this photo but take my word for it.  Then we went and had a ice cream sandwich from the Frozen Hogie Food Truck - YUM!  And we had to take a photo of the Grilled Cheese Food Truck for Dimitri as it's his favorite food on the planet!
We also saw a crazy street-performer guy juggle two knives in one hand, while playing bagpipes and riding an 8 foot tall unicycle.
It was a fun day!  Thanks Uncle Todd!

Sailing Adventure weekend with Nana and Papa on Piacere!

We visited Georges Island and toured the fort.  Then went to Hingham for dinner and back to Georges in the morning.  Lots of sun and fun!

Yes, I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie!!

A little zip lining at Liquid Planet.  Dimitri loved going down the green twisty slide.

A little FunTown Action!

We spent last weekend in Portland, Maine, my old stomping ground, with my buddy Grant and his parents.  We took a Duck Boat ride and went to FunTown.  It lived up to it's name…it was FUN!
